Your Home for the Weekend

When you book your wedding at Elrick Estate, you are not just booking a venue. You are stepping into your own private estate for the weekend.

Elrick House and the Coach House becomes your home, offering elegant, relaxed comfort for up to 30 adults across 13 thoughtfully appointed rooms. 

Every bedroom is unique, blending classic styling with soft, contemporary touches. With views across the gardens and grounds, there is a deep sense of stillness throughout the house, a place to breathe, gather and begin the next chapter of your story.

The house is yours to use however you wish. Many couples host a welcome supper on the evening before their wedding, or relax by the firepit with family and friends. Post-wedding enjoy a lazy brunch or gathering in the marquee or gardens.

Whether you are preparing for the ceremony, sharing coffee with your wedding party, or stealing a quiet moment after the speeches, Elrick House holds space for it all.

Rustic Garden Marquee

Your Space to create your perfect DAy

 

Our rustic garden marquee is where the celebration begins.  Finished in Scots pine with rustic trestle tables, oak cross back chairs and soft lighting, it has all the charm of a countryside barn with the comfort and flexibility of a marquee. The space flows beautifully from ceremony to dancing, with a central bar that keeps everyone at the heart of the celebration.

The marquee sides can be rolled back to open onto a private patio and pergola, perfect for reception drinks & canapés, cocktails and golden-hour photographs. Whether styled lavishly or kept beautifully simple, it is a space that feels natural, warm and entirely welcoming.

The marquee is available from the end of April until the beginning of October. Accommodating from 30 up to 130 day guests seated with the option of an extra 40 evening guests. Whether you are looking for a small intimate ceremony or a larger celebration the garden marquee has something for everyone.

The gardens at Elrick Estate are more than a backdrop; they are part of the experience. From your first steps down the aisle to quiet walks the morning after, every part of the estate offers beauty, privacy, and calm.

Whether you are dreaming of golden-hour portraits by the burn, champagne under the trees, or vows spoken beneath the sky, our grounds invite you to shape your day in your own way.

Tucked quietly behind the house, the Walled Garden is a hidden sanctuary of stone, wildflowers and stillness. It is here that many couples choose to hold their ceremony, standing beside the old wishing well, surrounded by lavender, roses and the gentle hush of nature.

In spring, the garden hums with blossom and birdsong. In summer, it becomes a fragrant, green cocoon of colour and light.
